CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME RIDE

Be Sure to Sign-in! Grants are predicated on supporters interest!

Once again, in keeping with the holiday spirit, and our deep commitment to our own community, we are pulling together to help the American Red Cross Shelter of Bucks County (7 Liberty Way, Levittown, PA 19055). Our Hog chapter always helps and contributes to several different great charities. This is an opportunity to reach out and take care of our neighbors. These are people that live in our own community and need our help. We are going to take what we can give right to the people that need it. Last year, all that joined us had a great time. The residents of the shelter really appreciated us caring. This ride is open to everyone and every bike!

We would like to focus on what the residents of the shelter need. Toy runs are great, but it does not give the teens and adults what they need. A few years ago we did a blanket run. We collected over 100 blankets that were greatly needed. We are going to do this again. There will be a box at Brian’s to drop the blankets off.

Unlike other charitable funds, EVERYTHING we donate on this run goes to the residents who are in need. Nothing goes to managing the fund and it stays in the county only. Equally important is the fact that the more we give, the more the shelter qualifies for additional grants and donations. In fact, just showing up at the shelter increases their opportunities since many grants are allocated by the number of outsiders who show support for the particular charity.

Other excellent donation ideas are gift cards from:

We will also accept cash donations.

We are looking for your support. The best gift, is the gift of giving. Please open your hearts as you always have, and let’s put some smiles on the faces of some of our neighbors that need a little help.
