Regretfully, Pamela Schlick, former Bucks County H.O.G Director, wonderful person and great friend of all, passed away December 14, 2007. Bucks Chapter Photographer Joel B. sent us this beautiful tribute to that lovely, extraordinary, woman. Pamela's Obituary (click here) (Expressions Photography photo)

(The Webmaster appologizes for the delay in posting new photos. In respect to Pam Schlick, I'm closing the 2007 photo-set with this entry).

Yup, that's Rob McC. on his cell phone, no doubt calling his mom to come bail him out after the entire Bensalem MC brigade nabbed him for riding 25 hours in a day. (Rob McC. photo)
Actually, the police were lining up for the annual charity ride to St. Mary's. Members unload Brian's van at the center. (Rob McC. photo)

Wednesday the 5th, Rob McC., Dave D., Jackie B., Mike C., Kathy W-H., and others braved the 6:00 am December temperatures and darkness, to escort the "Camp Out for Hunger" contributions to the Plymouth Meeting Metroplex. (Bikerpics.org photo)
Somebody GRAB HIM before he takes all that food home to mom! Not to worry, Rob is just there volunteering as usual.

Incidentally, these great photos are courtesy of BikerPics.org a biker lifestyle site which has morphed into an electronic picture magazine. Jack McI. owner of BikerPics.org also specializes in motorcycle & personal photography all over this area. Be sure to check out his killer 2008 calendar for sale, of Phila locations, bikes, and other attractive things! :8) (Bikerpics.org photo)

WMMR was there and collected 232 tons of food. Brian's & others contributed 800 lbs. Kathy writes; "We left Brian's at 6:00 AM with a motorcycle Police escort. We stayed for the whole Preston & Steve morning show". (Bikerpics.org photo)
Another familiar face at every event that Brian's H-D is involved, is that of Jackie B. of Brian's, seen with - maybe not a familiar face - but the familiar voice of Steve from WMMR. (Bikerpics.org photo)

Since this is a family orriented web site, I need to explain that the two young ladies are sisters, yea twin sisters, that's the ticket. Now aren't the rest of you guys sorry you didn't join this ride? (Bikerpics.org photo)
What Global Warming! It's only 12/4 and the Polar Bear's confronted snow for the second time this season. While only to Montgomeryville Cycle Center, it was too much for most bears to bear. John W. writes: "I was one of only five. I had to take the bike to get it cleaned up before I continued. The wind shield was frozen, and ice built up on the engine guard and other parts". (John W. photo)
Everyone deserves an opportunity to tell Santa what they want for Christmas. BCH Member Joel B. and his Expressions Photography will make your memory every Saturday til Xmas. Wednesday 12/12 Santa invites pets. Here we see Maggie, a Bearded Collie and Santa, a Bearded Biker.
This photo from the BC HOG Holiday Party 2007, was captioned: "Arthur's Catering 5:45 PM, just before the bar opened, and guests started arriving". I sure hope they had a chance to have some fun later on. :8)

It was a great Holiday Party! ("Only1Rolma" photo)
Do you suppose winter balloon riders wear electrics? It was a cold Saturday on November 24th. Dave H. and Wayne B. were cruising around when they noticed 7 hot air balloons near Readington, NJ, catching up to this one just as it was landing.
The next day (Sunday 11/25), the Penguins only had 28 degrees to start their morning with.
The destination was the Flemington Elks Lodge which was close enough to the Polar Bear destination in Hopewell, to see a little cross breeding this day. I see a little white fur on several of the Penguins already! (Rob McC. photo)
The Elks offer a great all-you-can-eat breakfast, although not the customary buffet so it helps to go with someone experienced with the ordering process. :8)
Hillbilly Hall (Polar Bear destination) was a little crowded so the Bears followed famous Dave H., to Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que for lunch. And Rob McC. can't wait to be served. After all, it's been nearly an hour since he had all-he-could-eat breakfast with the Penguins.
Why would they even make those shoes in men's sizes? Do you suppose Rob has bought a matching pair for ever color of tickets he sells?
The holiday season is heating up at Brian's H-D. Saturday 11/17, there was a BC HOG patch clinic, member renewals, great sales and a fashion show ...
... Plus there was a "How To" seminar hosted by Senior Technician, Keith Jellyman, and FREE lunch upstairs. Special events will continue til Christmas and next Saturday begins holiday bake sales and gift wrapping and photos with Santa!
Also on Saturday, Rob McC. guided a group north to New York, for the annual Brooklyn HOG toy run. Here's Rob, Kathy and "Buck", waiting for the parade to start. (Kathy W-H. photo)
Kathy writes: "It was an awesome time and I'm glad I went. Although only 28 degrees when I left home, the ride was enjoyable and riding the streets of NY, with police officers on their Harley's, and meeting the Brooklyn part of our family of fellow bikers was a great experience. I invited them to join us at our State Rally in 2008". (Kathy W-H. photo)
Rob also belongs to the Brooklyn Chapter so after the parade he invited the group over to the Tammaqua Club to party and give everyone a chance to fill there bellies. (Kathy W-H. photo)
Sunday November 18 was stark reminder of where the Polar Bear club gets it's name. It was cold, rainy and dreary all day in Lower Bucks but further north was snow. Yea, yea, you're thinking here at the Cornucopia in Port Jervis, NY, it looks pretty dry and nice, huh?
Ironically, in NY, the roads were dry with only a few dozen flakes falling, but between there and Flemington, it was all snow as seen in this photo. Fortunately the only accumulation was on our windshields so it was quite a pretty ride. The pass through the Delaware Water Gap was spectacular with fall colors and treetops licked with a layer of snow. It was postcard material.
It's November 10th. and the Webmaster is getting a little concerned about the age at which kids are hoping on Harley's. ("Mouse" S. Photo)
Well, not to worry. This is the annual BC HOG Shelter Run and there's plenty of adult supervision. ("Mouse" S. Photo)
A half hour earlier, the bikes were lining up at Brian's. (Connie M. Photo)

There was a parade and lots of people - including Brian's associates - in costume. Upstairs the MDA Cafe was open. (Jackie E. Photo)

In the spirit of the upcoming holiday season and Bucks Hog's charitable instincts, this photo from Jim "Skid" H. came with the caption; "We found this guy on the steets of Philly. We fed him and also gave him some cash".

We have to commend Jim and Gene simply on the claim they fed him. A big guy like that would be hard to fill! Click Here for photo (Jim H. photo)

Several Bucks HOG members furthered their riding skills by attending the ERC (Experienced Riders Course) last weekend. Instructor, Rob, prepares the group for the days challenges. (Kathy W-H. Photo)

Sunday October 21 was an incredible Fall day. Very unseasonably moderate temps and plenty of sunshine invited a dozen bikes to the Freddy Farm pig races in Worcester Twp. (Al G. photo)

In between races there was ice cream and other farm related activities. (Al G. photo)

And they're coming round the final stretch. (Al G. photo)
Hmmmm, there's something very familiar about this. HOGs that go for a little run but it's all about the food when they get to the destination! What does that remind me of. (Al G. photo)
Earlier this week, a call went out regarding the number of crabs left in our region Apparently, the Bucks HOG Crab Run didn't reduce the numbers as much as usual because "Fletch" couldn't make it. Members ponder a solution at the Suburban Diner, Sunday morning.
The plan was drawn ... A group of BCH members would volunteer to the call of duty and head to North East, MD, to attempt another hurtin' on the crustaceans.
Outside of Woody's Crab House, North East reminded us of New Hope, but appeared a little more biker friendly?
Inside, well it looked a lot like the finish line at Freddy Farm. Everyone had food on their mind.
Ahhhh, there's the master crab controller, but he's cheating and eating crab cakes! I guess it's a faster way to get the population under control.
TJ meanwhile was fascinated by the bronze sea related art. Watch those hands TJ!
Back to the artist of eating. The waitress has her work cut out for her trying to keep up with the cavernous one. She hauls away Fletch's empty plates of crab cakes and another of ribs as he starts on a big bowl of the do-it-yourself crabs.
Joe "Black" can't helping questioning what the green slimy looking stuff is that was in the crab and is now on Fletch's fingers and soon to be in Fletch.
Meanwhile, "TJ", "CJ" and Penny have moved on to dessert next door at Woody's Ice Cream Alley. Yes, after crabs, Fletch still had room for a big cone of "Moose Tracks"! With the crab population now under control, Dave H. led us home through some great Chester County country.
The "Piglet" safety fair was held October 6 at Brian's, and included traffic signals and a real Policeman, Officer Jones of Middletown. (Al G. Photo)
Kids were offered safety tips, instruction, and mini riding tests, and received a certificate at completion. (Al G. Photo)
Ken S. takes the opportunity of an easy-to-reach traffic signal to see how it works. He wanted to see if there is a way to make them always green in his direction. :8) (Al G. Photo)

Saturday September 29 was our annual BCH Crab Run. Can you tell by the table if they have or have-not eatten yet? Between the red hat and the eye-like extensions coming up from his head, I think I see a LeCrab in the background? (John W. photo)

The DelMarVa Rally (Ocean City, MD) is the place to go if you want to see a couple hundred thousand motorcycles!
While at the OC Dealer, a little "Mouse" tugged at the Webmaster noting it was picture time! Moose, Mouse and Chris C., with Barry H. in the inset, who couldn't hear us and we couldn't get past the mob for a better photo.
Besides the main event at Ocean Downs, Dealer visits, Boardwalk and popular watering holes such as Seacrets, we visited the Wheels of Yesterday Museum, Furnace Town and Assateague National Seashore where you'll find wild horses. We only saw them along the distant shores but we found evidence that they spend a lot of time in the parking areas. :8)
Despite not being the NJ State HOG Rally this year, this group met in front of the Wildwood Convention Center during the Roar to the Shore. (John W. photo)
The National touring rally; "Adirondack Rendezvous" was attended by a small group September 3 through 6. They took the long road through the Catskill's stopping at Innsfree Garden and Wing's Castle, which was incredibly built in the 70's single handedly by a husband and wife!
Staying in the cliff hanging "Point Lookout Inn", before continuing on some of the finest roads to Lake Placid, NY. The "Adirondack Rendezvous was one of the National Rallies this year and sold out fast. It was a great destination and prior to the event we received a box that included a logo blanket, L/S shirt, huge coffee mug, patch and a very cool set of five pins.
The Crowne Plaza in Lake Placid was the host hotel. High on a hill with great views of Mirror Lake and White Face Mountain and a warm and cozy mountain lodge-like lobby.
Editor Dave H. introduced us to the wonderful Adirondack Chair and later while at the Adirondack Museum, found the ultimate one. Unfortunately, it wouldn't fit in his tour pak.
Besides the great roads and Dealers we visited, we enjoyed the High Falls Gorge and view from the top of White Face Mountain.
We were always in good hands with "Friar Dave" (some think his bonnet makes him look a midevil executioner) at our side but it was another accommodating Harley Dealer that saved him by changing his tire in a flash when he realized he had no tread.
We stopped at a "Park Like Setting" just as this bus of elderly citizens was leaving. A moment later they turned the bus around returning with dozens of questions about our bikes, and some took a turn on them. It really made their day.
This photo can't do justice to the largest wind farm we ever saw. There were hundreds of mills scattered as far as we could see.
The final event dinner was hosted at the Olympic Ski Jumps. Besides a great bar-b-que dinner, there were skiers and other entertainers and you could take an elevator to the top of the jump to see just how crazy those athletes are.
The Adirondack event was quite nice. But it was only Thursday and the weather was great so we took the Fort Ticonderoga Ferry and joined the Killington Classic. Friday afternoon we enjoyed a guided Waterfall tour.
The Killington event is packed with activities. Friday evening we attended the Street Party in Rutland. Our tickets also included admission to the State Fair where TJ tried to convince this fellow to come to his mountain home where his pond dam had been leaking.
Saturday morning we signed up for an all-day tour of Vermont Covered Bridges. Waiting for the tour departure, we saw this Macaw which really loves to ride. According to her owner, she started riding his daugter's bicycle but got bored and moved up to something more adventurous.
In just one corner of Vermont, we toured more than a dozen covered bridges. Vermont has the heaviest concentration of them. This tour included lunch and was a full 8 hours. By the end of this rally, we were exhausted. ;8)
Alas, all good things must come to an end, and along with the end of our vacation, was an end to a gorgeous week of weather. But we had a great time and we're still smiling from the memories ... except for Vicki who never smiles in the rain. :8)
Last year the Back Mountain Enduro Riders hosted a two day event, so poorly organized, this webmaster vowed to never return. The BMER promised a new format this year, so TJ B., Dave H., and Wayne B., packed their camping gear and headed north. Of course, roughing it to us is 'camping' in TJ & Vicki's lovely mountain home, but it is in the woods!
This year the BMER AMA District Tour tour was only one day, so we tooled around awesome northern PA roads Saturday, and hooked up with Rob McC., at the Dallas, PA. registration. Rob rushed up Sunday to join us so was grateful with Dave's "doggy bag" breakfast. Or was it that he was suspicious of what we put in it.
What's wrong with this photo? I'll give you a clue, it's Rob's bike. I'll give you another, it's a Road Glide. Still can't figure it out ... a Road Glide should only have one antennae. That second one means Rob now has a CB radio!! We only enjoy riding with Rob because we get tired of hearing him talk when we stop to eat. This changes everything! :8)
As hot as it was Saturday 8/25, we never noticed gliding through the canopy of Pennsylvania forests. But the stretch of fresh asphalt was like riding a hot knife through butter, floating along the impeccably smooth surface.
We had a share of challenging roads too. A little dirt and gravel to add to our adventure as well as several sections still being restored from prior washouts and mudslides
TJ hankering for something even more adventurous, detoured over to a nice patch of grass. Actually, that mountain home lawn needs mowing even on a fun filled weekend.
The tour was shy of two hundred miles but we still beat everyone to the Shaverstown destination. We wondered how they could provide a full barbeque lunch and prizes from a mere $5 registration. It was a great deal, great roads and we'll mark our calendars for next years run.
Bucks HOG takes home another "Best Represented" club trophy. This, from the Red Knight's Poker Run of 8/19.
Special speaker at the August Members Meeting was BC HOG Member Wayne L. BC HOG is only one of many organizations Wayne belongs to, or hold's office. His talk this evening was with regard to the Patriot Guard Riders whose primary mission is to honor and support the familes of fallen soldiers. You can learn more at: Patriot Guard Web Site

On the first Day 24 bikes rode to the Quechee Gorge. Riders were free to choose from a selection of several planned routes. (Kathleen W-H. photo)
Rob McC. sent us this "GROUP" photo of his excursion to the White Mountains. Rob, you were on a trip to Vermont. You should have saved that diversion for the Laconia Rally. :8) (Rob McC. photo)
This is one of the nicest formatted photos I've seen of Rob. It's a shame how those people in Vermont painted his face like that and didn't even tell him before he went out. :8) (Rob McC. photo)
It really was a nice photo of Rob, so I morphed a copy of his freshly washed face from another photo. Of course, Rob may be working on something with this photo. Owners of the Garmin Zumo know that you can have your own custom splash screen, and Rob is thinking about getting a Zumo ... (Rob McC. photo)
... The webmaster suspects Rob might be trying to emulate this pose for his Zumo? Note: This photo was purposefully blurred to protect the vain.

The 2007 PA Hog Rally was a touring Rally, running between Bethlehem and Gettysburg, PA. Wednesday evening (8/8/2007) finds Rod H. winning the pool tournament. (Kathy W-H. photo)
The Rally was well organized with lots of tours to choose from. The "Dice Roll" game, a tour of area dealers, included a bonus stop at the Martin Guitar factory, in Bethlehem. The tour was recommended by one of the organizers and for good reason.
The free tour was about an hour and included a souvenir guitar cutout. We were amazed by the amount of manual labor required to construct a guitar.
The rain came in Thursday night and continued into Friday morning. Kathy W-H. is dressed up with someplace to go - Gettysburg. (Kathy W-H. photo)
There were several routes to choose to Gettysburg. Or you could just make up your own. Once there, you could tour the area and there was an ice cream ride in the evening. Saturday's big event is the "Bike Games". Moose took a group Saturday to help with the games. (Kathy W-H. photo)

Being so close to home, BC HOG members traveled to Bethlehem and Gettysburg Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. At the Battlefield Dealer, Dennis T. and Charlie U., meet up with Dave H. TJ B., and Joe "Black".

Joe "Black" had no passenger coming up but found this lady ready to go Sunday morning. Alas, the Rally was over but then again, there were plenty of great roads to take the long way home.
This group of BCH members braved the threat of storms on Sunday July 29, to participate in the annual Centurion's Toy Run. (Judi Z. photo)
Six BC HOG members took a day trip to Bill's Bike Barn in Bloomsburg, PA. We took a long (traffic laced) route. The "Ride to Eat" motto was not followed {didn't eat on the trip}. About this photo, I don't know if Moose was making new friends, asking where he could find food, or just looking for a smooch (Mouse was not around). (Jim H. photo)

This dates back to the Bike Show but the webmaster was feeling a little guilty for always teasing Rob McC. and insinuating he's a child. Here's a photo proving he's not a child, HE'S A WOMAN! Rob, I hope you put boots on before you rode home in that outfit. (Tony B. photo)
The weekend of July 14-15 was the annual Ramapo 500. 398 riders will congregate at the St. Joan of Arc Church in Sloatsburg, NY for destinations unknown (at time of registration). (Dennis T. photo)
The 500 is aptly named for the 500 mile route over two days. It's also billed as "Challenging and Lesser Traveled back roads". This group of Bucks Associates took the challenge this year. The gent on the right actually rode down from Quebec to join us in New Jersey. (Barry O. photo)
Each rider is handed 8 pages of directions which include reflex stimulating dirt and stone roads, as well as gorgeous scenery and twisties mostly through New York. This year the routes hung along the eastern Catskills with a short scoot into Massachusetts. (Barry O. photo)
The halfway point this year was a camp near Lake George. There was plenty to do, even for the kids if they weren't bounced off the bike on the way. (Dennis T. photo)
This happened to be "Christmas in July" at the Camp Grounds and this group of revelers were singing Christmas Carols circulating amongst the tents and giant RV's with Christmas lights and decorations.
Food? Absolutely, good, and even an ice cream social afterwards. (Barry O. photo)
Camping is included in the registration, but while we're willing to risk the challenging roads, only two of our group were willing to camp. (Barry O. photo)
While the rest of the group was on their way to a luxurious Hampton Inn 50 miles (said in a high pitched squeaky voice) away, Dennis and Barry check into their tents. The group met up for breakfast and a second great day of riding on Sunday. (Barry O. photo)
Sunday July 15th, Daryl W. led this group to the annual Indian Valley Poker Run. (Daryl W. photo)

On Sunday July 8th 2007, BCH members met at BHD for a group ride to the Burlington HOG annual poker run. A total of 58 members attended the run attempting to capture the annual trophy for best represented club. Was it enough??? Come to the monthly meeting on Monday July 16th to find out. Click for larger photo.
And here's the trophey they won, on display at the July 16 Members Meeting.
On Sunday, June 24, Bucks HOG rode to Lancaster, PA with the National Toy Train Museum as a destination. The weather was spectacular! (Tony B. photo)
Arriving at the Museum, members are greeted by a full size likeness of the "Lionel Kid". Of course that's actually Tony B., but if I didn't know better, I would think he's wearing an engineers denim overall. (Tony B. photo)
Tom B. and Mary S. enjoy the collection of Toy Trains. (Tony B. photo)
I think they're comparing their checklist for what ones they have at home? (Tony B. photo)
Oh my! I was afraid of that. We all knew it wouldn't take much to get Rob to regress to his childhood. Can't you just imagine the wooden slats of a playpen surrounding him. (Tony B. photo)
This is bad. I don't know if Rob is going to be able to recover from this trip. He's definitely in his element. I'm afraid of what's going to happen now. (Tony B. photo)
Well, there ya' go. I had a feeling we'd see Rob's bike up for sale, although I didn't expect it to happen so soon. (Tony B. photo)
So they left Rob and his bike back with all the toys but the rest are ready to head home. If you look close, you can see some of the new Harley's in the background. The new Harley is an introductory machine, having a simpler 1 horsepower engine. (Tony B. photo)
The group pauses at the Red Caboose Lodge. The Red Caboose is a motel and you can spend the night in a real caboose. It was created after a gentlemen who jokingly bid at an auction, won the bid and was stuck with a dozen "cabeese", so he came up with the idea to make a motel. (Tony B. photo)
Every year, Bucks HOG visits the Variety Club Camp in Worcester, during their MDA Camp days. The kids at the camp always make us feel welcome.
This is a fun time for everyone. The kids enjoy seeing and hearing the big bikes and the riders like seeing the kids smiles.
The kids reciprocate with entertainment too, to include biker contests.
Rob McC. is puzzled by the contest rules. Let's see if we can help him ... ROB, spell it "R", "O", "B".
Of course! Bikers are always willing to help someone out of the mud, even if they do ride on more than two wheels.
Several Bucks HOGgers walked away with a contest prize. Moose shows off his new T-Shirt he won for having the "Sweetest Beard". Yup, I heard one young lady say it tastes like cotton candy. :8)
The Red Bull truck made a surprise visit to the UGHC before the Monthly Members Meeting. The Webmaster is addicted to the stuff so a couple of his friends grabbed a couple cans for him, just in time, before the truck departed. "Thanks Guys"!
Members Birthdays have been celebrated during the Monthly Meetings lately, with a Big Birthday Cake.
Sunday June 17 was the Tri-State Poker Run. Tri-State had a great turn-out at our Covered Bridge Run the previous week so Rob McC organized a group ride to Chads Ford to reciprocate. Dave H. and Joe H. in line to register.
This group rode down and registered earlier but never saw their fellow BC members. They waited until the check points closed but still no BC Hog group, so they left. Hopefully someone in the other group took some pictures?
Ladies, Next time you husband drops your brand new helmet, don't get mad. Just say; diputs!. Diputs is like saying "gazuntite" when someone sneezes. It's a cute way to show displeasure over a common accident. And for moments like this when you further discover your face shield will no longer stay on, just say it twice. John ... Diputs! Diputs!

BCHOG was invited to participate as spectators with nothing expected other than community goodwill and cheering on of the little tykes, but the big bikes were popular with everyone. (Richard W. photo)
One little guy goes head-to-head with Skip. (Richard W. photo)
Hey "Trikers" need bike repairs too. Ken S. holds up their price list which offers: HandleBar Straightened - 1 Smile, Seat Adjust - 1 Thank You, Squeaks Oiled - A Giggle, Brakes Tweaked - Applause, Training Wheels Removed - 1 High Five. (Rolma S. photo)
Several of the HOG riders traded bikes with the little ones. Here's the big folks on the trikes but before we could get pictures of the kids on their Big Twin trades, they shot off on them before we could focus the camera. (Rolma S. photo)

On May 12 Bucks HOG had a group ride to Seaside Heights. The group arrives at parking. (Tony B. photo)
Remember how good the food tastes on the Boardwalk? I'll bet Glenn D. does too and must have been thinking about it the whole way finally giving in at a Wawa on the way. (Tony B. photo)

Several weeks before the Seaside Ride, a BCH group rode out to the Columbus Farmers Market, in New Jersey. (Tony B. photo)
Wednesday May 9, Bucks HOG members had the opportunity to join in a ride and tour of the York Assembly Facility. This is a great opportunity to visit York without the crowds during the annual open house. (Rob McC. photo)
Each year, International HOG presents a multi-day training session for chapter Primary Officers and/or designees. This year Rob McC., "OnlyOneRolma" S., "Dougsville" Doug S., "Mouse" S., "Moose" S., and Al G. had the opportunity to attend the Pittsburgh session which was May 4-6. While "Teamwork" is emphasized at P.O.T, what we see here may be the result of "post cocktail hour" syndrome.
Training sessions include plenty of role playing to drive home points. "Mouse" participated in this demonstation titled "The WOW Factor", however she admits, having the attention of an audience and a microphone, this photo may be at the moment where she shamelessly plugged the 2008 PA State HOG Rally.
On another day and another state, we find Secretary, Kathleen W-H with several of the HOG Regional Directors. Second from the left is Ben W. who tends to Pennsylvania (along with a few other states chapters). (Kathleen W-H. photo)
Kathy rode to Milwaukee all alone and met a great group from the Rocky Mountain Chapter, Englewood, CO. who she's seen with, here. (Kathleen W-H. photo)
Winter appears to have finally ended! Saturday April 21 the sky over Brian's HD was flooded by a bright yellow sun.
Winter does appear to be over but what appeared as a bright yellow sun was actually the reflection of Rob McC's bright yellow vest in my camera lens. Rob along with Bill Y. were coordinating the Buell demo rides at Brian's.
Inside Brian's, "OnlyOneRolma" S. and Megan Y. were sewing patches. Ken S. helps Dave H. customize his jacket. Besides the demo rides and patch clinic there were raffles and you could win some great stuff.

??? !!!

Sorry about that last photo, I took it from a deceivingly bad angle. From this perspective we can see that the great stuff being raffled is a 2007 Fat Boy, but you have to act FAST!

PS, Will the person who bought 1,000 raffle tickets thinking the prize was Al D., please return for a refund. We can't decipher their handwriting but the name appears to be spelled; "n a t a l e d."

For those who stayed late enough, Brian Bentley pulled out a 2008 model for a sneak peek! Yes, the larger engine requires a bigger frame and a couple more wheels but you can still get it in Harley orange & black!
Sunday was "Calling All BC HOG members" day, for the annual Welcome Ride. Several groups departed Brian's on various routes with Przyuski's Family Restaurant a common destination.
It was a perfect day to herald in the season with sun and temperatures in the high 70's.
Kids are Welcome on a BCH Welcome ride! (Tony B. photo)
And you're welcome to have as much fun as a kid yourself! (Tony B. photo)
After socializing with new friends and some we haven't seen for a few months, members were on their own to head home or continue absorbing the great day.
One group hopped on their iron horses, enjoyed some classic Montco biking roads, then grabbed some sandwiches and enjoyed lunch while watching another kind of iron horse.
The Pennsylvania Live Steamers build and operate scale model locomotives at a park-like facility in Montgomery County.
This poor engineer yells back to Dave H. (red shirt, walking away from camera), "YO BUDDY, Could you come back here and take your yakety-yak friend WITH you!!"... (but Rob just wouldn't leave).
April 1, Brian's HD hosted the Polar Bears and BC HOG was there making a presence - NO FOOLING!
The Dawn Patrol with their orange vests are familiar to (if not visible to) the Polar Bears. Oops, wait, that's our own Dennis volunteering for traffic duty during the Polar Bear Open House. Ehh, you see one orange vest, you see 'em all?
Polar Bears signing in and logging their points. 30 points gets you a rocker patch and a free ticket to their annual party. 45 points gets you a gold rocker. 60 points gets a pin and a perfect attendance pin is awarded if you don't miss any meets (from October through April).
Upstairs it was free lunch with hot dogs and kielbasa.
Friday March 30 was the semi-annual fashion show at Brian's HD and guess who was there! (Joel B. photo)
Before the show, there was a cocktail party upstairs for LAP members.
Look at sweet Penny getting Michele to autograph a photo for her man. Nahhhh, are you kidding! No such luck for the guy in Penny's life, this autographed photo was for Kate H.'s man!
What the girls got for their men was something safer ... autographed photos of Jon Runyan.
Everybody wants to be seen with Michele. (Joel B. photo)
Jackie C., Jon Runyan, Brian B., and Michele Smith get the fashion show started. (Joel B. photo)
And here come your friends from Brian's and Bucks County HOG. (Joel B. photo)
Charlie's Angels? Close, Cheerleaders from the Philadelphia Wings, modeling for the fashion show. (Joel B. photo)
And some Little Angels, also modeling. (Joel B. photo)
The models all come out one last time and thank you for attending.
After the Fashion Show was the MDA Live Auction. Michele shows off one of the posters up for auction.
IT's NOT WHAT YOU THINK (whatever you were thinking)! If you weren't at the Fashion Show, there really is a good explanation about this photo. This is one of Michele Smith's G-Strings, well, no, it's not really hers, no wait, she did donate it but, OH NEVERMIND, think what you want, but what Jon's doing is showing off the chain in the back which snaps off and becomes a necklace, and that's all I'm going to say about this. (Joel B. photo)
March 25 the Polar Bears hit another new destination. This time, Jenkinson's Pavillion, right on the ocean at Point Pleasant Beach.
And what a great day for a ride to the shore! Sunny and near 60 degrees. So much like spring, one Bear shaved his fur. Don't be fooled by that Baby-Face Joe H. has been hiding behind the gotee, we're taking bets and odds say it'll grow back gray!
At the March Members Meeting, Rolma S. presented past "Members of the Year" with a MOY Rocker. (Tom B. photo)
Despite the cold, it's still been somewhat mild and often sunny bringing out many Polar Bears on Sundays.
And you don't have to be a Polar Bear to join them as Rolma & Ken S. (background) know and as seen here on March 4.
The Bears have also enjoyed some new destinations this year. The Long Valley Pub on March 11 was nice and roomy and had a great parking lot.
Alas, the ice storm of March 16 put on a hurtin' and with ice still blocking many driveways, none of the Bucks County Bear contigent was seen in the McDonald's lot when one cage of members passed en route to The Chatterbox. Later that day, the "Unknown Chauvinists" sent us a photo of a few other Bears who just stayed home snacking and relaxing.
February 17 headlined with the MDA Black & Blue Ball. Judi & Al Z. were seen in tux and gown at the Grand Entrance. (Judi Z. photo)

And there were those painful moments when our S.O. pulled our ear to get us to face the camera. (John W. photo)
And we pondered that burning question ... "Why is it so hard for Rob McC. to get drunk"? ... (Al G. photo)
... Because he's too uncoordinated to get the bottle in his mouth. (John W. photo)
Saturday January 27 was the first of three "Biker Bingo" days in 2007. Coinciding with the event was a Patch Clinic and MDA Cafe.
Mike H. was distributing Bingo cards to players with Moose calling numbers while Mouse takes care of last minute chapter renewals. Biker Bingo is proof that Bucks County HOG does not shut down just because it's cold outside.
Mouse also took care of the MDA Cafe and in between helped Moose find his glasses and cell phone. And Moose knows, thank goodness for Mouse. Who else would have thought of looking in the vest Moose was wearing for the cell phone he couldn't find. :8)
Cold or not, there was riding to be done. So Dave H. and Wayne B. headed to Valley Forge for the Bike Show. Ironically, despite the huge crowd at the show, there were only four bikes in the parking lot! One of which was of course, Rob McC., selling books and books of raffle tickets and apparently having a real good time.
Road Captains present at the January meeting were re-introduced to the Membership. L>R Daryl W., Joe H., Moose S., Tom B., Bill Y., and Tony B.. ("Only1Rolma" S. photo)
Sunday January 14 wasn't very pretty so three Polar Bears (Joe H., Dave H., & Wayne B.) stretched some Seal suits over their Bear coats. Realizing Seals have those little webbed feet like Penguins, and they had to go all the way to Lake Hopatcong, they quickly traded the Seal suits for Otter coats so they could slink through the rolling hills of NJ.
Along the way, Rob McC. found us (how does he do that). By the time we arrived at the new PB destination, the Wearhouse Grill, the weather was ... exactly the same, cloudy, foggy, and drizzly, but this webmaster is convinced, when the Motor Company waterproofed Harley's, it wasn't so we could wash them.
The Polar Bear Club hibernated two weeks during the holidays. Some of us can't go that long so TJ B., Doug H., Tom B., and Wayne B., followed Dave H. on a tour of the mountain ridges of northern NJ. Here they take in the view from Washington Rock.
Further north the view of the New York skyline got even better. Many of these ridges served as observation posts during the Revolutionary war. Today this one is home of a 911 monument.
We lunched at a Fridays where we saw this poster. Hard to believe in an age of trans fats, that somebody used to advertise tonic capable of making kids as "fat as pigs"!
Alas, all good things must come to an end. Unfortunately this good day ended prematurely when Doug's Heritage spit a few flames and then died. But there's good company even when you're waiting a couple hours for a trailer.
