So you want to be a HOG?

This page will help expedite your application into the Harley Owners Group and Bucks County, PA Chapter. You may also download forms, and prepare them in advance.

• Membership is open worldwide, to anyone who shares our enthusiasm for motorcycling.
• You do not need a motorcycle to be an Associate member of H.O.G, however an Associate must be sponsored by Full member.
• You DO need to own a Harley or a Buell to be a Full member of H.O.G.
• You must hold a National H.O.G card to join a chapter. If you do not yet belong to the National organization, you can apply on-line at National H.O.G..
• The BC HOG chapter meets 7:30 PM, every third Monday at the United German Hungarian Club, 4666 E. Bristol Rd, Oakford, PA 19053-4753. Anyone interested in joining is invited!
• Membership application forms (both National and BC Chapter) are usually available at Brian's Harley-Davidson at the "event flyer racks" in the Parts Department. For your convenience, you can download applications and renewal forms from the links below, and complete them at your leisure in advance. You must however, submit your completed (chapter) application in person. You cannot mail, fax or eMail a new (chapter) application (you may mail a renewal).
• NEW Applications can be submitted IN PERSON, 1) At any monthly members meeting, 2) At most BC Hog events such as the "Poker Run", 3) At Brian's H-D, Secretary / Receptionists Desk. Place your completed Application form, a copy of your National HOG card AND PAYMENT (Check or M.O. NO Cash, please) in an envelope marked "Bucks County HOG mail".
  DO NOT submit an application or otherwise interrupt any HOG members who are also employees of Brian's H-D while they are at work. Apply with the Receptionists ONLY!
• You WILL NOT receive personal renewal forms or reminders before your membership lapses. It is up to you to maintain your membership in good standing. Reminders are made at the December and January meetings as well as the Newsletter. If you don't react to them, it's assumed you don't want to renew.
• Dues are renewable each year (January) and run through December, irregardless of what month you joined. Renewal fees are only $20 (subject to change). (Renewals not paid by February will be considered new members and charged the New Member fee (but will not receive pin or Rocker).
• RENEWALS are preferred at the December - January members meeting or the methods described in the previous paragraph). Renewals may also be mailed. Before mailing a renewal, eMail the Treasurer or Secretary for a current mailing address.
• New Members are assessed $24 and will receive a Bucks County Rocker patch and name pin (subject to change).
• You ask why you should join a chapter besides the National affiliation? It's a question of whether you want to have a lot of fun and events to participate in, or a whole lot of fun and events and WEEKLY rides to participate in with lots of new friends! Remember; the only thing better than riding in a National event, is riding there as a group!
• Besides being part of a great chapter, you'll be eligible for a FREE membership in Brian's H-D Loyalty Advantage Program (LAP) which entitles you to rebates and discounts on most purchases at Brian's H-D. Sometimes Brian surprises us with even greater sales and savings throughout the year.
• Newsletters are published at least six times per year. Electronic (PDF) Newsletters are available in the "Members Only" section of this web site. Mailed hardcopy of the Newsletter is available only on request.
• Ladies of Harley is free of charge to active H.O.G. members. The LoH benefit is not automatic. If you would like to join, please contact the National H.O.G. office.

  New Members are expected to contribute toward the safety of ALL! So once you've completed the above, PUSH your bike over to our New Members Page and learn about group riding and what's expected of you.

Chapter Enrollment (Renewal) and Release form. Everyone must complete this, every year.
Event Release form (Adults) form. Adults (non-chapter members) need to complete one of these before participating in any chapter events.
Event Release form (Minors age 12-18) form. Complete one of these before your children participate in any chapter events. The Parent or Guardian must sign.
Minor's (age 12-18) Risk Assumption form. Chapter Release for minors. Must be completed along with Chapter Event Release Form for Minors. The minor must sign.
